The Four Colour Temperament Model

The Four Colour Temperament Model© was created by EQ4Kids director Lynette Beer, and is the framework behind the EQ4Kids Personality Assessment. It's a simple way to understand your own temperament, and your child's, as a starting point for building emotional intelligence.

Self-awareness is the first step in everything EQ4Kids teaches. Knowing which temperament describes you or your child makes it easier to understand emotional reactions, and gives parents and teachers a shared, practical language for talking about feelings.
